In his earthly ministry Jesus showed many signs of his compassion for the sick. His many healings were clear signs that with him had come the Kingdom of God and therefore victory over sin, over suffering and over death.
By his own passion and death he gave new meaning to our suffering, which, when united with his own, can become a means of purification and of salvation for us and for others.
Any member of the faithful can receive the Sacrament of Anointing of the Sick as soon as he or she begins to be in danger of death because of sickness or old age. The faithful who receive this sacrament can receive it several times if their illness becomes worse or another serious sickness afflicts them.

he Sick in our Parish Community:
Sickness is an everyday reality. When we look at a sick person, we are looking at ourselves someday.
The sick hold a very special place in our community. If a member of your family is ill and you would like one of the priests to call just contact the Parish Office . They will be happy to visit the sick person and, if desired, place them on their First Friday list so that they may receive the Sacrament of Reconciliation (Confession) and Holy Communion once a month.
You and your relative may also like to watch daily and Sunday Masses via webcam /live streaming by visiting the homepage on this web site Monday – Friday at 10am or Saturday Vigil Mass at 6pm and Sunday at 11.30am
